Frequently asked questions
Roll Foam and Custom Foam Orders
Practical answers about specifications, samples, lead times, tolerances, testing, packaging, and custom production.
What is your minimum order quantity for roll foam?
Roll foam starts from approximately 500 kg per specification, subject to density, thickness, color, testing, and packaging requirements. Trial-order quantities can be reviewed case by case.
Can I request a foam sample before ordering?
Yes. Standard-specification samples can generally be arranged in approximately 3-7 days, subject to material availability and project requirements.
What is the typical bulk lead time?
Bulk production often takes approximately 10-20 working days after sample approval, specification confirmation, deposit, and packaging details are finalized.
Can width, thickness, density, and hardness be customized?
Yes. Width, thickness, density, hardness, color, roll length, and packaging are confirmed for the application. Published ranges are planning guides and final values are agreed in writing.
What tolerances are possible for roll foam?
Thickness tolerance is commonly +/-1.0-3.0 mm depending on thickness and cutting method, while width tolerance is commonly +/-5-10 mm. Exact tolerances are confirmed by item.
Do you provide testing and documentation?
Testing and documentation can be arranged where required, subject to laboratory availability, standard, cost, lead time, and project scope. No certification is implied unless the relevant document is issued for the order.
How is roll foam packaged?
Standard packaging is PE film and a woven bag. Cartons, pallets, labels, and other packing methods can be discussed for the destination market.
Can you produce custom shapes and molded parts?
Yes. Send a drawing, sample, or target geometry. CNC-cut components can be developed from drawings, while molded parts require mold feasibility and sample approval.
What information is needed for a useful quotation?
Please send the application, destination market, foam type if known, density, hardness, width, thickness, roll length, quantity, drawing or sample details, testing requirements, packaging, and target delivery date.
Do you supply finished foam products?
Selected finished products such as pillows, mattress layers, cushion units, pet beds, and support cushions can be developed subject to material, cover, labeling, packaging, and sample approval.
